Grey-Brown is one of the most quietly versatile natural colourways in the Nutiden range from Höner och Eir — a Swedish mill committed to producing lanolin-rich unspun wool with minimal processing. Made from 100% Swedish wool, gently washed and free of bleach, spin oil, and chemical additives, this unspun yarn has a naturally muted, earthy tone that suits a broad range of garment styles. Each 100 g plate holds approximately 530 m / 580 yds, with plates weighed individually.

These plates are offered from a designer's studio destash and are available singly or in sweater quantities of 490 g or more. The heathered grey-brown sits well in both structural and relaxed knits — in double-stranded raglans like the Wayfarer Raglan or Chloe Sweater, in cable-textured designs such as the Oakwood Raglan or Before Fall Sweater, and as a grounding tone in stranded colourwork projects from the beginner-accessible Barren Land Sweater to the full-colourwork Heritage Sweater. More experienced unspun yarn knitters may also work it single-stranded or blend it with a mohair or laceweight strand for a softer drape.
