Bjørk Top takes its name from the Norwegian, Swedish, and Icelandic word for birch, and the design reflects exactly that — a striped texture built from knit and slip stitches that echoes the distinctive markings of birch bark. Worked from the top down in the round with raglan construction, this tee is a lighter companion to the Bjørk Raglan sweater, sharing the same patterning technique in a shorter, more seasonal silhouette.

The slip-stitch stripe method creates a two-colour effect using only one yarn at a time, making it an accessible introduction to colourwork-style patterning for knitters working at a sport weight. The clean, graphic result is quietly striking without requiring complex stranded technique.

Bjørk Top is available as a digital PDF knitting pattern download from Ulven Knit, suitable for knitters with some raglan construction experience who want to explore textured slip-stitch colourwork in a warm-weather garment.

Please choose a size 0-15 cm larger than your actual chest circumference. For reference: the sample in the photo is in size 3 with 12 cm positive ease.
