The Wayfarer V brings the V-neck of the Wayfarer Cardi V to a relaxed raglan sweater – an easy everyday layer. Like the rest of the Wayfarer Collection, it is worked top-down in one piece with a classic raglan construction. Lifted increases shape the yoke and the V-neck together, and once the V is complete the sweater is joined and worked in the round.

Stockinette throughout, 1x1 rib at the cuffs and hem, and a ribbed neckband with a centred decrease at the V. A straightforward, satisfying knit for beginners, and a relaxing one for experienced knitters.

Designed for DK weight yarn held together with a strand of silk mohair and also suitable for worsted weight yarn or unspun yarn held double.

How the pre-order works: after your purchase you receive a confirmation PDF straight away. The pattern is currently being test-knitted. From 5 January 2027 it is available to download via the download link in your order confirmation. Available in English and German – choose your language above.

Choose a size that is 12–22 cm (4.75–8.75") larger than your actual chest circumference. You can choose from 9 unisex, size-inclusive sizes, with finished chest circumferences of:
