Natt Mörker — a deep, dark near-black — is one of the most striking colourways in the Nutiden range from Höner och Eir, a Swedish mill known for its lanolin-rich, minimally processed unspun wool. Made from 100% Swedish wool, gently washed and free from bleach, spin oil, and chemical treatment, this unspun yarn has a naturally soft, earthy character and an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio. Each 100 g plate yields approximately 530 m / 580 yds, making it a generous and efficient choice for oversized knitwear.

These plates come from a designer's studio destash and are available individually or bundled into sweater quantities of 490 g or more. The depth of Natt Mörker makes it particularly compelling for colourwork sweaters such as the Heritage Sweater, for dramatic contrast in two-colour projects like the Barren Land Sweater, or as a grounding tone in double-stranded designs such as the Chloe Sweater or the beginner-friendly Wayfarer Raglan. Nutiden unspun wool requires gentle hand-washing — a little vinegar in the first rinse is recommended to help set the fibres. Pigmented dark shades may release a small amount of colour in the first wash, which is normal for minimally processed, naturally dyed wool.
