Fisherman's Mittens

€6,50

Fisherman's Mittens are a textured accessory worked from the cuff up in aran weight yarn, featuring the same subtle herringbone-inspired braid stitch panel that distinguishes the Fisherman's Raglan sweater. The panel runs along the front of the mitten, giving the piece a quiet, craft-focused character that rewards close attention; the back is worked in simple stockinette for a clean contrast.

Two slightly different variations of the pattern are included, each with distinct sizing options and a slightly different look — allowing knitters to choose the version that best suits their needs. This makes the pattern versatile for a range of hand sizes and gives experienced knitters an opportunity to compare how small structural changes affect the finished result.

The mitten pattern is well suited to knitters comfortable with working small circumferences in the round and reading basic stitch charts. It makes an excellent companion piece to the Fisherman's Raglan sweater and is a satisfying, focused project for anyone who appreciates textural detail in handknit accessories.

Recommended positive ease: 1-3 cm.
