This is the original designer sample of the FJELLTUR LITE SWEATER—a one-of-a-kind design piece, handknit with care and intention. Once it’s gone, it’s truly gone.

FJELLTUR LITE is the pared-back, lighter-weight sibling of the original FJELLTUR SWEATER (from the Norwegian fjelltur, meaning mountain tour). Inspired by the landscapes and stillness of mountain hikes, it features minimalist motifs that echo distant peaks and quiet spruce trees.

This piece follows the tradition of the classic Icelandic Lopapeysa-style sweater, reimagined with a modern aesthetic. Unlike many traditional Lopapeysa sweaters, it includes subtle shaping to optimise the fit. The circular yoke showcases stylised colourwork in clean lines, offering a gentle nod to Nordic tradition through a fresh, contemporary lens.

Knit in rustic Icelandic wool, FJELLTUR LITE is warm, breathable, and lightweight. Its close-fitting silhouette makes it ideal for layering under jackets or wearing as a standalone piece during the cooler days of spring and autumn.

Condition:
This item is in like-new condition and was worn only briefly for photography and video purposes. It has not been worn in daily life and shows no signs of wear.

This is a handmade piece created for design and photography purposes. It is not factory-made. Small variations and minor imperfections are part of the charm and individuality of handknits, especially when worked in natural yarns. 

*This item comes from a non-smoking home with dogs. While great care is taken to prevent husky floof from tagging along, please be aware that the occasional fiber may remain.

This is the original sample of the FJELLTUR LITE SWEATER and is best suited for sizes XXS to XS, depending on your preferred fit. The sweater is designed to be worn with 5 to 15 cm (2 to 6 in) of positive ease, resulting in a snug yet cosy silhouette that’s ideal for layering under jackets or wearing on its own in milder seasons.

The garment has a bust circumference of 84 cm (33 in) and is intended to fit a full bust between 69 and 79 cm (27 to 31 in). The body length from underarm to hem is 41 cm (16.25 in), the sleeve circumference is 34 cm (13.5 in), sleeve length from underarm to cuff is 53 cm (20.75 in), and the yoke depth at the front is 17 cm (6.75 in).

Graded for women’s sizing, but suitable for anyone who enjoys a closer-fitting silhouette with thoughtful shaping and a modern, minimalist yoke.
