Álafosslopi is a bulky weight yarn from Ístex, perfect for outdoor wear due to the natural weather-resistant properties of Icelandic sheep’s wool. Recommended needle size is 5.5–6.5 mm, and 100 g equals roughly 100 meters.

The skeins themselves naturally vary in weight and are actually between 99–112 g each.

All skeins listed as new/unused are exactly that – they come with the original label (click through the colour options to see the Lot number) and have simply been stored since purchase.

Due to the passage of time, some labels show slight yellowing, and a few rare ones may have tiny creases – all from storage. The yarn itself is in excellent condition. (Most of it dates from 2021–2022.)
