This Sandnes destash kit is part of my Studio Clearance Event and comes from my personal designer stash. The yarn was originally set aside for samples and projects that never made it onto the needles, so it’s in good condition and simply deserves to be knit, worn, and loved instead of sitting on my shelves.
The kit includes Sandnes Garn Double Sunday in colour 6046 (11 balls) and Filcolana Tilia in colour 337 (6 balls). Both are from the same dye lot respectively, and the kit will comfortably fit a Wayfarer Raglan or Cardigan V in sizes 1–2 when worked with Double Sunday held together with Tilia.
Sandnes Garn Double Sunday is a non-superwash merino yarn – soft, warm, and breathable, with approx. 108 m per 50 g ball. It’s a plump, versatile base yarn that works beautifully on its own or held together with mohair. Merino naturally absorbs moisture while keeping you warm, making it ideal for everyday sweaters and cardigans. Sandnes work with suppliers who guarantee that the wool does not come from mulesed sheep.
Filcolana Tilia is a luxurious blend of 70% kid mohair and 30% mulberry silk, with approx. 210 m per 25 g ball. The mohair gives a light, airy halo and warmth, while the silk adds strength and a gentle sheen. You can knit it on its own for a very delicate fabric or hold it together with another yarn, like Double Sunday, for a soft, slightly fuzzy surface with beautiful depth.This kit is perfect for projects where Double Sunday is held together with a mohair strand. It is especially well suited for the Wayfarer Raglan or the Wayfarer Cardi V.

Please note: All yarn in this listing comes from a non-smoking home with dogs. I take care to keep husky floof out of the yarn and parcels, but the occasional stray fibre may still sneak in.
